Farewell to Bernadette

Today I say farewell to Bernadette who has so beautifully captured the journey in her photography and goodwill.  She has been a great asset in this work and I will miss her very much in the continuing programme. She has suffered great loss in Uganda as her camera bag containing all her camera equipment was stolen at a Cultural Introduction Ceremony.  This has caused much stress to us but with a borrowed inferior camera she continued the work but you will notice the quality of the photos is much reduced although she was still able to take wonderful shots.
I have still to bring Uganda.
On arrival, met by Williamer and John we went to Afri-kids kindergarten, a new development lead by John and his wife Edith.  At present only 4 or 5 children in their first term.  John has done the Waldorf Education training and teaches Art and Science in a neighbouring school.
From there we went to an orphanage and met Remmie with her 89 orphans.  WHAT A MAMA she is as she embraces and keeps together all these children with love and consistency.
Here are a few pics of the two initiatives of our arrival.
